Type: | Bug | Severity: | Medium | Status: | Closed Fixed | Status Comment: | fixed | Title: | HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE not Locale agnostic nor configurable | Version: | 1.9 | Description: | At the moment, OWB obviously uses a hardcoded or not set at all HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE header, which causes multilingual websites to always display in their default language instead of the language the operating system was set to.
OWB should use the current system locale to determine the preferred language automatically. Additionally there should be a way to configure the accepted languages as well as their order.
I consider this a bug as it prevents many users to understand websites which are all of a sudden not displayed in their nativ (or understood) language. Feel free to change it to "suggestion" if you think that would be more appropriate. | Created: | 20110927 09:12 by Cyborg | Assigned: | 19700101 01:00 to | Fixed: | 19700101 01:00 by | Closed: | 19700101 01:00 by | Comments: | 1 |
