Type: | Suggestion | Severity: | Medium | Status: | Open | Status Comment: | | Title: | File Permisions On The FTP Server | Version: | latest | Description: | Currently it's not possible to set filepermisions of the destination file when copying to a ftp host.
This requires a sepaerate session with a ftp client to enabale CGI scripts for example.
This is what I was refering too on the Filer thread. It's something you could do transparently on DOpus5, and very useful, as you could get a website working locally then copying as it to the webserver, without fiddling with CHMOD in a ftp client.
Doing somthing like
cd ftp:bluesplus/cgi-bin/
protect +e script.pl
will return a packet request type unkown or even a GRIM
