Type: | Suggestion | Severity: | Minor | Status: | New | Status Comment: | | Title: | Handle more than 2 bootable ports | Version: | 1.3.x | Description: | IDE ports are only 2: primary and secondary. Thus Uboot knows only 2 ports to boot from. But in the case of SATA ports, you often have 4 possible ports.
This is the case on Sam *and* on A1 with a SATA board.
Uboot doesn't handle more than 2 ports.
I don't ask to fix it yourself (I don't know the work needed for that) but at least see with Denx so that this is suggested to us.
Thanks.
Note that an Amiga reseller already suggested that to them. More suggestions will give us more chance to have such support in Uboot. :-)
