Type: | Suggestion | Severity: | Minor | Status: | Closed Fixed | Status Comment: | Fixed in 2.11 | Title: | Tone down the progress bar a bit | Version: | 2.10 | Description: | Just a suggestion issue for a small rearrangement of the GUI.
The progress bar draws too much attention to itself in its current size.
I suggestion to:
|
- Move the address field to replace the progress bar row.
- Move the search field to replace the address field.
- Move the progress bar to replace the search field.
|
This would also enable you to, when bookmarks and browser history is added, put those GUI elements on the same row as the new address bar. (For example: Dropdown for browser history, button for making a bookmark of the current page and perhaps a button that opens a popup menu for selecting a bookmark)
And I also suggest to:
|
Remove the separator that is currently between the web page and the progress bar. It's already obvious to the user what part of the gui that is part of OWB and what is part of the web page.
