Inability to resize column

Currently columns are automatically sized and it is not possible to resize. This is infortunate especially when long file paths are hidden because then the column is very large for no apparent reason

Even when the list columns overflow the width of the window no horizontal scrollbar is displayed. This makes it hard to read the whole row.

switch to ignore difference in date/time

I see that file date comparison was added for v1.8

When I use subversion to checkout files they ALL get the checkout time... a design feature I understand. Also, nearly every ftp program available for OS4 makes no effort to preserve the date/time.

For the above 2 reasons it would be convenient for CompareDirs to not consider any date/time difference between files.

I only forsee myself using this program through the CLI with the NOGUI option. I found your program when the GNU utilities diff <dir1> <dir2> yields only that "out of memory" message.

I see where this was added in the source code, but the development environment evident from looking at the various source files is too daunting for me to participate without much more guidance.

GUI - Change option NoSubDir to positive way

The idea is to be positive rather than being negative in the GUI. Instead of having an unchecked box "Don't explore subdirs" change this to a checked box "Explore Subdir".
This only affect the GUI, not the CLI.

clicking on a file -> navigate?

would it be possible to navigate to the drawer (workbench) when clicking on a file? iirc the workbench "find" tool does it like that - or at least allows smth like that. please have a look and offer the same possibilities.

directory selector stays open when going on

after starting i select two dirs in the selector and press ok. this selector now stays open (and active - no busy mouse) giving the impression that comparedir is NOT doing anything.

1. the window should close and the main window be shown
2. instead a progress/info window could be shown.
3. a cancel/stop button during scanning is missing

please show the number of displayed files with the current filter.
for example:
comparing 2 dirs (a and b). a has files 1,2,3 and b has 2,4,5.

haveing all filters on it should show "6" - as there are 6 files all together.
showing the identical files only it should show "1" (file 2 is the only identical) and so on...

System crash after a click on list header
