Crash when launching two instance of MPlayer

Often MPlayer will crash when you try to start a new session while another instance of the program is opened, aka if a video is already in playing

You can reproduce it trying to start two videos at the same time using SMTube or just with an Odyssey script on the YouTube site

Middle mouse button is now broken since beta 9

With latest internal beta it seems you broke the middle mouse button functionality, according to the original readme it should hidden/shown the Control panel , however since your recent modifications now pressing the middle button will hide both MPlayer windows (video and control panel aswell) so you can't control anythings

You should add a check for this

Zoom gadget doesn't work correctly

Actually the zoom gadget in MPlayer will remembered the latest state of the window, however in p96_pip driver the zoom gadget doesn't work correctly, press it should increase the video window in a maximum large area (aka opening the video in semi-fullscreen), but in reality it doesn't

In SDL driver the zoom gadget is also availible but it doesn't work at all, while instead this gadget is not availible at all into cgx_wpa!

In an ideal world you might implement the zoom gadget also in cgx_wpa and then make it working correctly in all availible video driver (p96, cgx and SDL)

To see how it should work check the old "axfgroup" MPlayer binary (using p96_pip) or even the newsest version from Joerg

Audio issue (dbl speed) related to the ahi audio output

Pressing Enter to switch in fullscreen/window mode

Actually the "Enter" key does nothing while a video is in playing, however it should react like a double-click key press, that mean it should switch in fullscreen (or turning in window mode visualization)

Improving the list of devices in Prefs/Devices

In Preferences --> Devices (for DVD)

For now we can choose only one type of device and unit.
Infact currently we have one by default and the default one is: "ide.device:1" while if you have any other hardware in you computer you need to type manually yours

Would be cool to implement it in the same manner as it is in MPlayer GUI from Denill, a choosing gadget instead of a plain textarea when the user can simply select his device and unit on the fly (and then he can save it permanently)

The other possible devices are for example:

sii3112ide.device
sii3114ide.device
sii3512ide.device
and others..

p96_pip: fullscreen DSI error when switching stream

Reproduce: For ease, start mplayer with GUI. Open file -> select more than one video. View the first video in fullscreen mode (specifically -fs) and either wait for it to finish or hit enter. This will cause Grim Reaper to report a DSI, when the second stream should be starting.

Using -playlist or the commandline with multiple files or urls will also have this effect. The GUI does not make a difference, in fact this bug exists in some of the later builds without GUI.

Fullscreen does not work (GetVideo)

Lately I'm trying MUI MPlayer to handle YouTube videos with MUI OWB + GetVideo, so i put the MUI MPlayer exe and GetVideo in C aswell, then in MUI OWB i use this setting:

c:getvideo "%l" play

All goes well and i can more or less playing any YouTube videos using the context menu of MUI OWB, but once the video will be opened I can't be able to set them at fullscreen, if i double click on the MPlayer's window while the video is in playing nothing happen !

Obviously fullscreen work normally playing locale video files in MPlayer MUI.

Before i used MPlayer Reaction and there fullscreen always worked in both case, even playing videos from ClipDown or even MUI OWB + GetVideo only

Window mode "Unable to open window" when: YAM is running

I encountered a problem with mplayer in window mode, and didn't know what it was. But now I have observed that running YAM 2.6p1 causes MUI mplayer to not open a window as usual. Iconifying YAM does not enable the window to open, but after quitting YAM, mplayer can start in window mode again. Also YAM's splash screen does not have that effect.

I was viewing a h264 video and a wmv3 video. I used OS 4.1 with update 3.

Iconify seems broken if you active it from menu (the icon will not showed on Workbench) and the program will be hidden somewhere!

Instead iconify from the usual button in GUI works ok

Resizing window cause freeze

Resizing the video window at the minimum cause an immediate freeze on my Sam Flex, this is always reproducible altrough you need to resize at minimum and with some insistence ...

White background and strips around

I have an MP4 video with a limited size, it will be open to the center or the video screen only with the left and right side of the window "trunked" at some point, (don't know how they create such type of video) aniway if i double click on it to make it at full screen i have the left background part showed as black (and it's ok) but the right side have a white background instead !

On Reaction MPlayer version we have a similar issue with the background part, but on Reaction version there are only 2 small white strips at the left and at the right of the video screen while on your MUI version the while strips are bigger so more annoying ..

In general If i set 16:10 resolution all strips will gone

Drag&Drop on the direct playing window does not work using p96_pip driver while it works fine using the usual cgx_wpa, this is an important fix to do ...

Gui buttons not highlighted and not pressable

When you move cursor over the buttons there is no visual feadback from buttons, as well as when you press on the button, you can't see if it pressed or not.

That are known limitation of mui Dtpic class, which are updated by Thore already, and will available in the update4.
