Issue: Audio issue (dbl speed) related to the ahi audio output

(Okay I revisited the forum topic, and this is previously known by and large. But it's valid.)
I noticed this in some videos, so it occurred to me to check whether that is because they are single channel. It is a part of it:

The following codecs are affected, at least: vorbis, wmav2, ac3, aac

As you can see, the 1-channel thing is reported correctly not just by the demuxer, but also the output driver.

Did tests with ffmpeg, vorbis was encoded with libvorbis. Matroska container and for the last two, MP4 containers were used.

iconify

That one done by Fab originally like this (tested morphos version right now it is the same for non-embedded output). There even code, which says "if we in embedded mode, then iconify as usual, if not, then just hide window". Dunno why there needs to hide window (as control is loosing) and even put that "hide" on iconify menu item (probably there should be another item called Hide or something). But i think its all done like this for reasons which we don't see as we didn't have embedded outputs.

In meantime i just do the same iconify as it happens from gadget for our port, so it all will be same for both iconifies and comment out hiding of window.

It seems that this problem is caused by the compositing engine active, need only to investigate wich specific option is responsable ..

I note it switching to another (old) OS4 theme that don't use compositing at all ...

I already add such code , and i was sure it was tested by sams users (i.e. swithing to vo_cgx if overlay not present), but seems there is something wrong.
If you in interst to fix it, write me mail and prepate to test it on your config.

Mmm i will search one that will crash then i will send you as a test
Not all 3gp are crashing but i note with this type of file there are more crash than any other format

I note also that there are more crash if you try to open a file directly from a CD/DVD rathen that from a locale device (hard disk)

Yep probably it's a Sam only problem as the other one in Reaction MPlayer was an A1 only freeze, aniway did you try to resize the window at the very minimal dimention once a video is in playing ?

sam freeze

Tested many times, and have no freezes on peg2 /os41u3 (possible sam's only related).

Anyway, if you want that bug fixed, hook up a terminal via serial port, and catch the info which serial will throw at you, and then post it here.

Or send me a Sam where i can reproduce that problem :)

3gp crash

Did it crashes on every 3gp video or only some of them ? Did old mplayer from Andreas crashes the same, or its only about muimplayer ? If not every 3gp video are crashes, upload example video somethere (and make it as small as possible, just to reproduce the problem).
