Type: | Bug | Severity: | Medium | Status: | Fixed | Status Comment: | fixed in rc2 | Title: | State of GUI elements not being updated until change tab | Version: | 4.0.1.0043 | Description: | This is NOT a graphical refresh problem, but seems to be the GUI elements themselves not having their internal state updated (until forced by changing to another tab & then back). Here is the problem, and how to reproduce it:
1. Once only: Ensure you have a web page (e.g. google.co.uk) set as your homepage, and that this is set to be shown when you start Timberwolf. Now quit Timberwolf.
2. Start Timberwolf. You should see your homepage, and that the Forwards/Backwards arrow buttons are greyed-out.
3. Click on a different site in Bookmarks (either the Menu or the Toolbar).
4. After the page has load, the Backwards arrow is still greyed-out, and the URL bar still shows the OLD address! Nothing will happen when click on the Backwards arrow button, and attempting to edit the URL will cause you to edit that OLD address, thus proving that the GUI state itself has not been updated (rather than being a simple refresh problem).
This is 100% reproducable for me every time, in both this & the previous version of Timberwolf (i.e. Betas 2 & 3). | Created: | 20120413 19:07 by ChrisH | Assigned: | 19700101 01:00 to | Fixed: | 19700101 01:00 by | Closed: | 19700101 01:00 by | Comments: | 5 |
