Type: | Bug | Severity: | Minor | Status: | Closed | Status Comment: | | Title: | Bookmark only opens page on the tab that was originally open | Version: | v3.23 | Description: | This is a long-standing bug/feature: I have the built-in OWB Bookmarks window always open (OWB's main window is sized to allow this), so I typically open the Bookmarks window on the "first" tab. If I then open another tab, and double-click on a bookmarked page, then it still opens in the "first" tab (i.e. the tab that was active when Bookmarks window was opened). AND if I close the "first" tab then double-clicking on a bookmarked page fails to do anything (I assume it is trying to send a message to the non-existant tab).
Overall it would make MUCH more sense if the built-in Bookmarks window just opened pages in the CURRENT (active) tab. | Created: | 20100325 10:37 by ChrisH | Assigned: | 19700101 01:00 to | Fixed: | 19700101 01:00 by | Closed: | 19700101 01:00 by | Comments: | 1 |
