After having browsed for quite a while, opening and closing several tabs, after switching to a tab, the URL bar and search bar should update to reflect the URL of that tab, and the search string you typed in that tab.
It only updates if you click inside the URL or search box.
Restarting OWB, and it's OK again for a while.
I run OWB on it's own WB-Like public screen, and have CONTEXTMENURMB enabled.
