Title:Umlauts not working properly in search field

Description:The inbuild search field (top right) can hold Umlauts, like Ü, Ä, Ö etc.
But using the search field results in a wrong search pattern handed over to the search engine (in my case Google).

i.e. if i search for "KÃŒchen", Google spills out hits for "K chen" which of course is absolutely nothing near what i was looking for
