I haven't tried adblock, but download toolbar does store it's settings.

Note that these settings are subject to the same database issues as the bookmarks.

i will try download toolbar.
edit: i cannot find an addon with this name.
wich one exactly do you mean?

my bookmarks are working fine.
i even tried form a clean os4.1 beta installation + fresh timberwolf.
