joergRe: RMB don't always work as expected20100602 01:18
It's working correctly here.
samo79Re: RMB don't always work as expected20100602 02:44
@joerg

Do you mean that when you click with the "right mouse button" into the frame it open you its proper alert window ?

If i click on it with RMB, OWB open me the usual contextmenu

Alert window will be opened only using left button

Yes.

Context menu is MMB. Of course you must not use the CONTEXTMENURMB tooltype if you want to use the right mouse button.

@joerg

Now i'm dowloading 3.28 but why using MMB ?
Isn't possible to open alert window and contextmenu (with RMB) dinamically as any other browser ?

P.S.
Please for next release can you integrate my latest themes ? I don't see them in changelog :-)))

On AmigaOS the right mouse button is usd for the menus, abusing it for something else would make the OWB GUI as broken as for example MUI GUIs.

I've already added the CONTEXTMENURMB tooltype because a lot of people seem to prefer unusable GUIs, but I wont add even more support for this nonsense option.

So Mozilla Firefox is broken too as it "abusing" on this ... ;.-)

Before you eliminate this function I used also context in search toolbars in order to copy/paste URLs or text with thw mouse, now I find it quite unusable :-(

I can't speak for others but personally I can't use OWB without CONTEXTMENURMB enabled

P.S.
Forgot adding theme request, it's here in 3.28 :-)

FireFox uses the same GUI on all systems, unlike the AmigaOS port of OWB TimberWolf doesn't use an AmigaOS GUI.

AWeb uses the middle mouse button for the context menus as well, anything else doesn't make sense in an AmigaOS GUI.

Exactly how MUI does, also if you run a MUI software on AmigaOS 3.9 you can have a similar result in MorphOS or OS4

I'm not a MUI fan or similar, i'm not interest at all ... i need only to use a software "decently" ...

AWeb is a crappy '80 browser (GUI and core), how we can compare it ?

Exactly how MUI does
That's one of the reasons I don't use any MUI software.

AWeb is a crappy '80 browser (GUI and core), how we can compare it ?
Except for WebCrusader, which was never finished, AWeb was the only AmigaOS browser with an AmigaOS GUI. The others, IBrowse and Voyager, were unusable MUI crap.
samo79Re: RMB don't always work as expected20100602 18:19
@joerg

Well all old Amiga browsers was crap, expecially regaring core but it's normal, it's quite impossible to create a real modern browser from scratch if you don't have behind a huge team like Mozilla Foundation/Apple or Microsoft

Aniway you said that adding GUI features on OWB was useless because Timberwolf is on the way, now you told me that you "hate" any different toolkit than Reaction (on AmigaOS)

So if you appreciate Reaction instead of other solutions why you don't make a GUI for OWB ?

:-)
