You can reproduce easily with a series of click on the URL not just selecting the URL, put the mouse near an address already typed, then click with the mouse 2 or 3 times on it (the number of times needed to select the entire URL), when the URL is completely selected try to type somethings (www or http or just the name of the site already present in cache)
If you follow this scheme you can see that the history doesn't work at all, maybe is another bug or limitation of the StringView ...
