It shouldn't take around 3 minutes to load.
If I load the page AFTER restarting OWB, it takes under 20 seconds.
OWB doesn't have a cache (another suggestion by the way), and therefore proves it isn't bandwidth or any other internet issue here.
Naturally this test should only be done if you haven't been to the site in a while.

I don't have any loading problem with the specifi site you linked, but I know what you mean, to reproduce this issue just make your network cable down and try to load somethings when internet are generic down...
On other systems page will get not reachable in a few seconds, OS4-OWB freeze its interface for minutes ... :-/

No doubt it depends on geography as to what ads will be served to you, and which hostnames will be required to be resolved.
.. but even if it isn't that site, surely other people see sites that load a little bit, hang, load a little bit more, hang, etc..

MickJT | Annoying | 20100523 07:06 | | This is beyond ridiculous.
Why am I having to wait minutes for an ign.com article to load, when I can use Netsurf and it takes 30 seconds or so?
Well, I know the reason. It's that if curl is stuck, then OWB freezes.
